Escape Photo Contest: Winter 2023

My son, Connor, loves to bake with me. We’ve just pulled some cinnamon buns from the oven, and would have shared them with his sister and a cup of tea. The perfect winter afternoon treat.
 

This is me at the top of Martock ski hill in Windsor, N.S in February 2023. Down hill skiing is one of my winter activities that is great for my mind, body and soul.

I love to get out and explore during the winter. This winter I got to go to Quebec to see the Montmorency Waterfalls.

Love my winter walks, and try to get out for at least 5-10kms whenever I can. ❤️ 

I tried a few new winter activities this year but I found winter photography while snowshoeing to be very peaceful and serene!! And I enjoy the challenge of focusing or not with various lighting and using the snowshoes to get to places too deep to walk!
