The NSNU is pleased to offer the following online course on Digital Professionalism: Social Media and Your Nursing Practice this coming Monday, October 24th from noon until approximately 1:30 pm.
Course Description:
Understanding the potential impact of social media on your nursing practice is important when deciding how to interact online. With so much discourse online, especially since the pandemic, having a digital presence is almost unavoidable, but comes with some risk. This course helps participants understand how to use social media while safely protecting your professional status and obligations. Discussion will include necessary precautions, nursing practice implications, privacy, cyber-safety and more.
The event is approximately 90-minutes long to allow for discussion and interactivity. This session is valued at 5 professional practice points. The NSNU recommends that you consult with your manager regarding all educational sessions prior to any event.
