Tech Troubleshooting

The NSNU is happy to provide some troubleshooting guides to reference when experiencing issues on the web.

For instance, if you are experiencing trouble logging into your NSNU account or a specific page on our site, we advise you to attempt access through a private or "incognito" browser.

You can find more information on this, as well as how to clear your cache, below:

How to use an Incognito/InPrivate browser

When registering for NSNU events, or when logging into your NSNU accounts, if you experience any issues, it is advisable to attempt access via “incognito” or “private” browsers. Every browser has one and the following diagrams will show you how to access these options in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Other browsers will have a very similar option.

Chrome Incognito

Edge InPrivate

How to clear your cache

When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites. Every browser has this option and the following diagrams will show you how to access these options in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Other browsers will have a very similar option.
